Managing the Clinical Spectrum of Pancreatitis in Dogs: From Outpatient to Inpatient

Nov 07, 2024
NYC Pavilion Theater

In this seminar we will review the clinical spectrum of pancreatitis in dogs and how this can impact a dogs treatment plan. Clinical cases will be used to demonstrate how a treatment plan can be tailored to each dog. We will review traditional supportive and symptomatic care while also reviewing novel treatments such as Panoquell-CA1 (Fuzapladib sodium for injection).

  • Understand supportive and symptomatic care for the management of pancreatitis in dogs.
  • Understand the mechanism of action of Panoquell-CA1 (Fuzapladib sodium for injection) and evaluate evidence supporting its use in dogs with clinical signs of pancreatitis.
  • Understand what factors influence whether a patient may be suitable for inpatient vs outpatient management of pancreatitis.
