An overview of recent testing advances involved in the diagnosis of renal disease, as well as a selected overview of newer therapeutics.

Goals

Participants should learn about or review their knowledge of some newer diagnostics involved in the diagnosis of feline chronic renal disease, including FGF-23, urine cystatin B, and AIM (Apoptosis Inhibitor of Macrophages).

Participants should learn about or refresh their knowledge of some newer therapeutics used in the treatment and management of feline chronic renal disease, including molidustat, capromorelin, phosphate binders, and novel supplements.
