Endoscopic and Radiosurgical Intervention in BOAS Dogs

This lecture will cover updated knowledge in the clinical assessment of BOAS dogs using endoscopes and radiosurgical procedures to correct them.  To include brief discussions on dorsal offset rhinoplasty, folded-flap palatoplasty, and rescue procedures such as the staphylopexy and placement of tracheostomy tubes.

• (1) Gain a better understanding of clinical findings in BOAS dogs; (2) Understand the dorsal offset rhinoplasty and how to use it in practice. (3) How to use Radiosurgery effectively to obtain optimal surgical results and clinical healing. (4) See endoscopic assessments of the nares and larynx of various BOAS patients.
