Eye abnormalities are a daily reality in small animal practice, and sometimes surgery is the best path to provide comfort and preserve vision. Not every case requires referral - many procedures are well within the reach of the general practitioner. In this presentation, Dr. Alex LoPinto, founder and medical director of the Veterinary Eye Center of NYC, will share practical techniques and tips for performing four common ocular surgeries: cherry eye repair, eyelid mass removal, entropion correction, and enucleation. Attendees will also gain insights into surgical preparation and postoperative care in order to set patients up for the best possible outcome
