This final session takes an in-depth look at cardiac monitoring. It covers ECG interpretation, blood pressure monitoring (invasive and non-invasive), and recognition of anesthetic-induced arrhythmias and perfusion problems. Using a case-based approach, participants will learn to rapidly identify and manage issues such as bradycardia, hypotension, and tachyarrhythmias to maintain cardiovascular stability during procedures.
- Interpret key cardiac monitoring modalities, including ECG and invasive and non-invasive blood pressure measurement.
- Recognize anesthetic-related cardiovascular complications such as bradycardia, hypotension, and tachyarrhythmias.
- Apply case-based strategies to manage arrhythmias and perfusion problems to maintain cardiovascular stability during anesthesia.
