Amputations in the General Practice Setting

We will review the surgical anatomy and technique for thoracic and pelvic limb amputations. Additionally, we will discuss instrumentation needed for these procedures and options for hemostasis. Finally, we will discuss appropriate closure technique and post-operative management, including pain control.
