Avoiding Common Pitfalls: Long-Bone Fractures

We will review common long bone fracture configurations and fixation options for these fractures. Fixation will focus mainly on pins, wires, and plating. We will also discuss when to choose internal/surgical vs. external coaptation. Finally, we will discuss post-operative care and management, including how to identify common complications and what to do about them.
