October 29, 2026
IDEXX Advanced Diagnostics Theater
This session will discuss diagnosis and management of hypercortisolism and hypothyroidism from an internist and dermatologist perspective. - Describe the clinical presentation and diagnostic approach to hypercortisolism and hypothyroidism from both internal medicine and dermatology perspectives.
- Identify and manage concurrent dermatologic conditions such as cutaneous infections, calcinosis cutis, and demodicosis in patients with endocrine disease.
- Recognize the impact of allergic disease on the diagnosis and treatment of hypercortisolism and hypothyroidism.
- Develop integrated treatment strategies that address both endocrine dysfunction and associated skin disorders.
- Tailor management plans to complex cases involving overlapping endocrine and dermatologic conditions.
