In this lecture, recent trends in urolith submissions will be discussed. Case based presentations illustrating the clinical pathophysiology, removal, and prevention strategies for the most common uroliths seen in dogs will be presented.
After this session the attendees will be able to:
- Know the most common canine uroliths and risk factors for these mineral types
- Obtain a thorough dietary history
- Develop a therapeutic prevention plan for their urolith cases
