Aggression to veterinary staff is a daily challenge that negatively impacts team morale and negatively impacts the physical and mental health of our patients. The good news is there are many ways to help fearfully aggressive patients feel safer and be safer at the hospital. In this lecture, we will focus on utilizing fast acting medication combinations to decrease aggression and fear.

  • -ID patients who need medication to prevent aggression and fear at the hospital
  • -Understand a variety of fast-acting medications
  • -Use case-based learning to practice plan selection and adjustment based on patient response
