Ann Elizabeth Hohenhaus

Dr. Ann Hohenhaus is board certified by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine in Oncology and Small Animal Internal Medicine. In 2021, she was selected to be a member of the influential World Small Animal Veterinary Association’s Oncology Working Group which she currently chairs. As Director of Pet Health Information at the Schwarzman Animal Medical Center, she writes the Animal Medical Center blog and hosts a monthly podcast, “Ask the Vet.”
Dr. Hohenhaus has published over 45 peer reviewed articles and most recently served as a Section Editor for the recently released edition of Ettinger’s Textbook of Veterinary Internal Medicine. Her current research focus is canine hemangiosarcoma and feline lymphoma. Dr. Hohenhaus spent six years as a member of the AVMA Council on Education and continues to serve AVMA COE as an accreditation site visitor. As part of Cornell’s Veterinary Educator’s Academy, she is studying spectrum of care and access to care for veterinary patients.
