Dr. Ashley Beard, a graduate of Loyola University and Tuft's School of Veterinary Medicine, gravitated toward her passion for senior pet care, chronic pain management, and providing high-level care to rescue pets from the earliest days of her career. Having three differently-abled cats herself, she is no stranger to the unique methods it takes to improve each animal’s quality of life. With Dr. Kira Purdon, they established Sage Veterinary Center & Sage Canine Rehabilitation Center in Jersey City. Outside of work, Dr. Beard and her husband Joe enjoy hiking, trying a new exciting local restaurant, or snuggling their cats.
