Bill Crank, DVM, 1991 graduate of The Ohio State School of Veterinary Medicine, brings to TPSG over thirty years of experience in the Veterinary Business. In 1991 he founded a mixed animal practice in rural WV, worked with several associates over the years, and sold his two-million-dollar practice to his partner in 2018. He deeply appreciates associates and their contributions to a profitable business. He understands the demands and sacrifices of growing and selling a successful veterinary practice in a constantly changing environment. Since 2013, Dr. Crank has worked with over 100 veterinarians to provide appraisals, facilitate buy-in/buy-out, or market and negotiate private and corporate sales. Covering the east coast for TPSG, Dr. Crank has well over $100 million in sales. However, due to the drastic increase in private equity companies' pursuit of veterinary practices, the majority of his clients are now selling to corporate buyers. He aims to maximize the owner's compensation, retain staff, and negotiate a favorable exit strategy for the seller. Crank and his wife Amy live on a family beef and crop farm in West Virginia and have two grown daughters. For recreation, Bill and Amy enjoy traveling, scuba diving, and golf.
