Dr. Carissa Norquest, DVM, DACVIM (Oncology), is a board-certified veterinary medical oncologist and Specialist Support Veterinarian with IDEXX Laboratories. She previously practiced in specialty referral settings as a clinical oncologist, where she worked closely with veterinary teams and pet owners managing complex cancer cases. Dr. Norquest has a particular interest in improving the early detection of cancer and helping general practitioners integrate diagnostic tools into everyday practice. Her clinical interests include nonsurgical management of osteosarcoma and guiding families through the process of identifying the treatment approach that best fits their pet’s medical needs and quality-of-life goals. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband Dylan and two young boys, Aspen and Linden. Carissa is often found outdoors, at the horse barn, or trying to find a balance between fun and chaos on a family adventure.
