Christine is originally from Southern California and attended Cal Poly Pomona for Pre-Vet. She then attended Purdue University Veterinary Medicine where she met her husband. They have been married for 27 years and have three kids. After she completed a rotating internship in small animal and surgery in Michigan, she then practiced in a hybrid 24-hour hospital for five years, later working at Novartis Animal Health in Sacramento. Following her return to Southern California, VCA acquired the hospital where she practiced. Christine has been a part of the VCA family for 18+ years, beginning as an Associate DVM and then Medical Director in Southern California. She joined the recruiting team in 2016, advancing from a Recruiting Professional Relations Director to leadership positions including her most recent role as Vice President, Veterinary Recruitment
