Dr. Eliza O’Callaghan trained at Murdoch University in Western Australia and has practiced across Australia and the United States, including San Francisco and North Carolina, before settling in New York City. Her clinical interests include soft tissue surgery, dentistry and oral surgery, dermatology, and senior pet care. For the past eighteen months, she has served as a Managing Veterinarian at Small Door Veterinary, where she mentors early-career doctors, supports surgical training, and leads the rollout of AI-assisted documentation and communication workflows. Dr. O’Callaghan is passionate about safe, clinician-led uses of AI that enhance accuracy and efficiency while preserving medical judgment.
