Dr. Katherine Quesenberry founded the Exotic Pet Service at the AMC in the 1980s and has practiced exclusively with exotic pets since then. She earned her DVM from the University of Georgia, completed postgraduate training at the AMC, the University of Florida, and Yale School of Public Health. Dr. Quesenberry has co-edited leading textbooks, including four editions of Ferrets, Rabbits and Rodents: Clinical Medicine and Surgery and Avian Medicine and Surgery, served as the Scientific Editor of the Journal of Avian Medicine, and has authored more than 40 publications.
