Dr. Kira Purdon, a graduate of Northeastern University and Cornell’s School of Veterinary Medicine, developed a passion for emergency medicine and senior pet care during her internships at Cornell Vet and Animal Medical Center. She ultimately chose general practice to build lasting relationships with pets and their owners. Partnering with Dr. Ashley Beard, they established Sage Veterinary Center & Sage Canine Rehabilitation Center in Jersey City. Outside of work, Dr. Purdon enjoys scuba diving, spending time with her rescue dog, and embracing her role as a mother of two with her husband, David.
