Dr. Mason Savage grew up on the coast of Georgia before attending the University of Georgia for both undergraduate studies and his veterinary medicine degree. Following completion of his veterinary degree, Dr. Savage completed a 1-year small animal rotating internship and his radiology residency at North Carolina State University and became an ACVR Diplomate in 2015. He joined IDEXX Telemedicine in 2015 as a part-time employee and worked at referral private practice hospitals and spent time as a part-time clinical instructor at the University of Georgia. In 2019, Dr. Savage joined the IDEXX team as a full-time employee. He especially appreciates teaching and learning from individuals at various parts of their imaging journey and the application of existing and novel technologies to improve patient care. Outside of work, he loves spending time with his wife and 2 children and is currently cultivating an on-again, off-again, semi-life and limb-threatening, relationship with woodworking.
