Melanie Anderson

Melanie Anderson grew up in Miami, FL and attended University of Florida for her undergraduate and veterinary degrees. She graduated from veterinary school in 2013 and moved back to Miami to work in small animal general practice. During her time in private practice, she developed a strong interest in diagnostic imaging and after 4 years she decided to pursue a specialty in radiology. Melanie moved to Denver, CO for a rotating internship at VCA Alameda East Veterinary Hospital where her interest in specializing continued to grow. She was accepted to a residency program at University of Missouri in Columbia, MO where she did a 4 year residency. She finished her residency in 2022 and moved back to Colorado where she works in teleradiology full time for Vets Choice Radiology and does part time teaching in private practice. Melanie has been a speaker at several conferences and in a private setting to help educate general practitioners on various topics in diagnostic imaging. In between her radiology shifts, she enjoys taking trips in her RV with her husband, her dog, and her one-eyed cat. Melanie enjoys skiing in the winter and spends her summers traveling, hiking, and camping.
