Dr. Lappin graduated from Oklahoma State University and did his residency in internal medicine and PhD in Parasitology at the University of Georgia. He is the Kenneth W. Smith Professor in Small Animal Internal Medicine and directs the Center for Companion Animal Studies. Dr. Lappin studies feline and canine infectious diseases.
