Dr. Rebecca George received her veterinary degree from Auburn University's College of Veterinary Medicine. She completed a one year small animal rotating internship at VCA Alameda East Veterinary Hospital in Denver, CO. After her internship, she served as a relief veterinarian for 12 hospitals in Denver and participated in an international exchange program in Chile at the Universidad Austral de Chile. She returned to Auburn and completed a Master's degree in Biomedical Sciences and a residency in small animal oncology. Dr. George's special interests in oncology include treatment of osteosarcoma and treatment of leukemias and lymphoma. She also has an interest in targeted cancer therapy and immunotherapy. Additionally, one of her main goals during treatment of pets with cancer is maximizing quality of life.
