He is an international speaker, and has contributed and/or authored various book, both for veterinary professionals and for the general public, including Decoding Your Dog and Decoding Your Cat and Ask the Dog. He contributes to the Journal of National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America. He’s appeared on many TV shows, including Oprah and Good Morning America and serves on the Boards of the Human Animal Bond Association, Association for Pet Obesity Prevention and EveryCat Health Foundation and Anti Cruelty, Chicago.
