How can I make changes to my registration?

You can edit your registration details at any time by calling us at (646) 437-9080 or emailing vetshow@closerstillmedia.com. If you choose to email us, please make sure to include your full name and registration code in the body of the email.

Alternatively, you can also make amends to your pass onsite.

When will I receive my pass?

You will receive your conference pass(es) via email 1-2 weeks prior to the event. We highly recommend that you print out your email with the QR code so that you are able to go into the express registration line at the show.

Is my pass refundable?

Per our Terms & Conditions, your Event ticket fee is non-refundable (this includes Online Events) and should you decide that you can no longer attend the Event, we will not reimburse you for any expenses, losses or costs that you have incurred in relation to the Event. Can I transfer my pass to another person?

If you are not able to attend once you've registered, your pass is transferable to another member of your practice at any time. Please contact us at (646) 437-9080 or email us at vetshow@closerstillmedia.com to transfer your pass.

I am not from the United States, do I need a visa to attend the conferences?

You will require a visa to enter the United States if you are not a citizen or eligible national of a Visa Waiver Program country. While registering, indicate in the designated section that you require a visa letter and this will be emailed to you upon completion of your registration.

Are exhibitors collecting any personal data?

All our attendee badges are encoded with your name, address, phone, organization, and email address (if applicable). Exhibitors obtain this information only if they scan your badge in the exhibition. If you do not wish to share your information, please do not have your badge scanned.

Session Notes & Proceedings

Will I be able to access and print notes for my sessions prior to the Conference?

As a registered attendee you will receive access to session notes available online through VIN prior to the conference. Details will be sent via email.

Where can I find proceedings and when will they be available?

We will send an email with the details regarding proceedings to all registered attendees once they become available. You will also be able to view and print them at the VIN booth in the exhibit hall, where high-speed internet access is provided. For more information please visit our Certificates and Proceedings section.

I can't find the password to access the online proceedings. What should I do?

Proceedings will be available closer to the event's date. Once they become available, we will notify you via email. If you have received a notification but cannot access the proceedings, please contact the VIN team for assistance at proceedings@VIN.com.

Will I be able to print my notes on site?

You will be able to print proceedings at the VIN booth in the exhibit hall. Please be aware that only a few print-outs are allowed per attendee. Alternatively, you can utilize the business center at the Javits Center.

CE Accreditation

How many CE Credits will I receive?

You can earn up to 16 CE Credits over the course of New York Vet. Your total CE Credits for the event will be automatically calculated based on the number of sessions your badge was scanned at. For this reason, it's important that you make sure that your badge is scanned before every session you attend. If you attend two sessions in a row in the same theater, you must exit to get your badge scanned and then reenter.

Is the conference RACE-approved?

Yes! The American Association of Veterinary State Boards RACE committee has approved CloserStill Vet US LLC to conduct continuing education programs. Our business courses qualify for CVPM credits, as authorized by the VHMA. 

CloserStill Vet US is also an approved sponsor of CE for veterinarians and veterinary technicians in the state of New York (NYSED) for the New York Vet program.

How do I obtain my CE certificate?

CE certificates will be available to collect from the Attendee Services & CE Certificate Collection in the exhibit hall. If you forget to collect your CE certificate onsite, please contact us at (646) 437-9080 or email us at vetshow@closerstillmedia.com and we will be able to send you a copy via email. 

Veterinary professionals from Texas and California must track their sessions and bring the completed tracking sheet to the Attendee Services & CE Certificate Collection to be signed and collect their certificate before leaving.

How can I track the sessions I attend?

There will be a tracking sheet included in your Show Guide, or you can utilize our US Vet Shows app to save the sessions you attend.

On-site Services

Where do I pick up my event materials?

Please collect your attendee bag at the Bag Collection area; this includes your Show Guide, Passport Program, notepad, pens and other information from our sponsors and partners.

Is lunch included in my conference pass?

Lunch and beverage service are included as part of your registration. 

Coffee and water stations are available throughout each day in the exhibit hall.

Are there any nursing rooms available at the conference?

A mother's room will be available to facilitate the needs of nursing mothers, a refrigerator is provided.

Is it possible to smoke at the venue?

Smoking, including e-cigarettes, is not permitted at New York Vet.

Is there a Lost & Found office available?

If you have lost an item, please come to the Show Management Office and we will assist you.
