    Sheena Davis Medical Operations Associate, Bond Vet
  • Renee McDougall
    Renee McDougall Chief Medical Officer, Bond Vet
    Dr. Renee McDougall earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Pennsylvania and her degrees in veterinary medicine (DVM) and public health (MPH) from Cornell University. Following her DVM/MPH, she returned to NYC to pursue advanced training, beginning with a rotating internship at the Animal Medical Center (2016-2017), an orthopedic surgical internship with the Veterinary Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Group (2017-2018), and a surgical residency at the Animal Medical Center (2018-2021). Over the past year Dr. McDougall has been practicing as a boarded surgeon in New Jersey, not far from her home state of New York.As a surgeon, Dr. McDougall has a special interest in orthopedic and minimally invasive surgery and a passion for using research and teaching to improve population health. With these tools she believes we can build a healthier community with less need for surgeons like her.
  • Jordana Eisenstein
    Jordana Eisenstein CEO, EVS Pet Urgent Care
    Dr. Jordana Eisenstein is the CEO and Founder of EVS Pet Urgent Care and a passionate advocate for reshaping veterinary medicine. A 2005 graduate of Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, she served as an associate and later a partner at a small animal hospital before selling her practice in 2016. Motivated to address burnout and improve work-life balance across the profession, Dr. Eisenstein created a model that bridges the gap between general practice and emergency medicine. Her mission is to restore fulfillment, trust, and sustainability to veterinary careers—empowering veterinary professionals to thrive while ensuring pets receive timely, compassionate care.
  • Ryan Ainsworth
    Ryan Ainsworth Owner, Bark Avenue Pet Supply
    Dr. Ryan Ainsworth has over 17 years of veterinary experience. He earned his BS in Agribusiness from Arizona State University and his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Illinois, followed by a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery. A former hospital owner, Dr. Ainsworth also owned Bark Avenue Pet Resort and has led Bark Avenue Pet Supply for 7 years, expanding it to three locations since 2018. He brings proven experience in combining veterinary expertise with retail success, creating thriving stores focused on high-quality care, client education, and operational excellence.
  • Brennen McKenzie
    Brennen McKenzie Director of Veterinary Medicine, Loyal
    Dr. McKenzie has been a small animal general practitioner for twenty-five years. He is a past President of the Evidence-Based Veterinary Medicine Association, and in 2015 completed his MSc in Epidemiology at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. He has taught veterinary students, written a monthly column for Veterinary Practice News magazine, and in 2019 published a book for pet owners and veterinary professionals—Placebos for Pets? The Truth about Alternative Medicine in Animals. Since 2021, Dr. McKenzie has served as Director of Veterinary Medicine for Loyal, an animal health company developing therapies to extend healthy lifespan in dogs.
  • Jamie Richardson
    Jamie Richardson Chief Medical Officer, Small Door Veterinary
    Dr. Jamie Richardson is a small animal veterinarian and Chief Medical Officer at Small Door Veterinary, where she leads medical quality, innovation, and training across their practice group. A graduate of the Royal Veterinary College in London, she has practiced across three continents, bringing a global perspective to veterinary care. Dr. Richardson blends clinical expertise with a focus on communication and client connection, and is committed to developing general practitioners who are inspired to practice the highest quality medicine. She also drives initiatives in AI integration, community outreach, and leadership development to advance the profession.
  • Meagan Crowley
    Meagan Crowley Clinical Applications Specialist, Mindray Animal Medical
    Meagan Crowley is a Registered Veterinary Technician and Veterinary Technician Specialist in Anesthesia & Analgesia who has over 7 years of experience in specialty and emergency medicine. She has a special interest in pulmonary physiology and anesthetic management of intrathoracic procedures. Her passion for education and mentorship is leveraged through her role as a Clinical Applications Specialist with Mindray Animal Medical where she has the opportunity to provide clinical training and support throughout the North American Veterinary Community. During her free time, she provides relief work to her local specialty and emergency referral hospital. Additionally, she is an advocate for technician utilization and encourages a team approach as the standard of care for all veterinary environments to maximize patient outcomes.
  • Eric White
    Eric White Partner, Dykema
    Eric White builds bridges for a living. In a market in which unforeseen variables arise and volatility is the norm, Eric brings a quiet confidence to the table for each of his clients. His unique ability to impose order upon chaos is why he’s earned a reputation for delivering results that satisfy even the most diametrically opposed parties. An assistant leader of the firm’s corporate finance practice group, Eric has directed the structuring and investment strategies of a diverse list of private companies.
  • Virgil Ochoa
    Virgil Ochoa Partner, Dykema
    Virgil Ochoa is an attorney in Dykema’s Business Services Group where he focuses his practice on mergers, acquisitions, and affiliations with Veterinary Service Organizations, formation of VSOs, corporate finance matters and international trade law. Virgil regularly advises clients on a wide array of corporate matters, including, assisting investors in buying, selling or investing in VSOs, assisting veterinarians in selling their practices, and assisting VSOs in affiliating with veterinary practices, and creating regulatory compliance business models.
  • Eliza O'Callaghan
    Eliza O'Callaghan Managing Veterinarian, Small Door Veterinary
    Dr. Eliza O’Callaghan trained at Murdoch University in Western Australia and has practiced across Australia and the United States, including San Francisco and North Carolina, before settling in New York City. Her clinical interests include soft tissue surgery, dentistry and oral surgery, dermatology, and senior pet care. For the past eighteen months, she has served as a Managing Veterinarian at Small Door Veterinary, where she mentors early-career doctors, supports surgical training, and leads the rollout of AI-assisted documentation and communication workflows. Dr. O’Callaghan is passionate about safe, clinician-led uses of AI that enhance accuracy and efficiency while preserving medical judgment.
